While recapping what happened today, Thomas realizes that things are impacting him more than he is realizing. He still have a lot of work to do in regards to insecurity, and separating his own emotions from other peoples. He is also noticing how his physical situation is further deteriorating.

Thomas is noticing how his body is showing signs that him being here teaching is stressful and making him feel sick. However he is doing well mentally and he is starting to show signs that the re-programming or changed attitude he wants to adapt towards work-related conflicts, is starting to take effect.

Even though it technically isn't really work, Thomas is still enjoying teaching and experimenting with giving the students more freedom, and being himself less hands on, while approaching a work-like situation. Unfortunately his personal life isn't as straight forward, and choosing between different evening activities at the hotel, makes the anxiety creep in, because what if there is a potential hidden conflict that can occur if he just relaxes!

Life is not making it easy for Thomas to maintain a low level of activities, and sabotaged the opportunity for having a walk'n'talk yesterday. But even though it is hard, tough and difficult, there is a few moments when he can stand up for himself, or do things he wants to do! And even though it is small and seemingly insignificant, those moments are wins!

Thomas is slowly loosing touch with himself, and his body and mind is starting to try to intervene. Luckily he is starting to listen to the signals, and maybe it is time to not just slow down, but to return to the initial way that started the whole process and stop punishing himself for not being able to handle all the things that "normal" people can do.

Thomas unloaded his entire lifeline in headlines to his new psychologist, educating her in his situation, life and motivations. Also going over all the stuff that caused him to crash, but not leaving any time for actual therapy. Hopefully that comes later, and he reasons that he talked nonstop for the entire session, because he needs this to go much deeper than with the last therapist. He reasons that no one has ever taught him how to exercise mentally and emotionally to become stronger, and that needs to change!

Because a lot of things is happening and Thomas is loosing touch with his feelings and emotions, he is starting to do things that are not necessarily helping him recover. But since he still feels like things are moving way too fast and he can't seem to slow it down, he is starting to do things that just gives him a break.

To deal with being in weekend mode, Thomas tries his best doing things his way, so he is in control and wont be pushed around. It means standing up for yourself, insisting on taking charge, and being able to stand up tall no mater what happens.

In the spring of 2024 Thomas is hit hard by depression and anxiety, forcing him to stop working and start thinking about life. He starts an audio journal or maybe it's a podcast, that is recorded everyday during a walk, and then posted here, instead of it living in his pocket. This is not meant to entertain or educate ... it just is.
